Powerful Partnership Series

Business U, Inc and Ford NGL are partnering to provide professional development learning opportunities to maximize engagement of employers, educators, non-profits and civic leaders using a transformational relationship-building framework to sustain Ford NGL’s network of communities.

Ford NGL communities are invited to participate in this facilitator-led, highly interactive webinar series that builds from session to session to enhance the capacities of leadership to grow and sustain their local strategies. Each webinar is grounded in Ford NGL’s “3 Strand” framework as well as elements in the processes found in the “5 Phases” through the lens of engaging the larger community to attract and sustain the Network’s collaborative and collective work within their respective communities.

Webinar #1: Building Transformational Relationships to Engage and Sustain Community Partnerships

The success of Ford NGL communities is the ability of community leaders to bring together cross-agency public sector and non-profits with business and industry to solve complex workforce and education challenges that impact social mobility and economic growth. This webinar sets the foundation for understanding the need for both transactional and transformational relationship building approaches to engage the multitude of stakeholders needed for success.
