As CEO and co-founder of Business U, Inc., Dr. Christine Bosworth leverages technology tools, professional development innovations and strategic education and workforce development initiatives to create sustainable partnerships with public and private organizations to grow their regional economies and provide career-building training opportunities for students and job seekers. Dr. Bosworth is a nationally recognized business and educational leader with more than 25 years of operations, program development, and management experience. She has held school director and instructor certificates of authorization from the California Department of Consumer Affairs (Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education), and a preliminary adult education credential in elementary and secondary basic skills, and English as a second language from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
Dr. Bosworth served as a commissioner and executive officer on the Los Angeles County Workforce Development Board and chaired the bylaws committee as it transitioned from WIA to WIOA. She has led and moderated national panels that included The Aspen Institute and the Department of Labor. She was also recognized by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors for “Dedicated service to the affairs of the community and the civic pride demonstrated by numerous contributions for the benefits of the citizens of Los Angeles County.” Dr. Bosworth has a master’s degree specializing in adult education and earned her doctorate degree from UCLA in educational leadership.
